Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
Trenchless Technology is a preferred method of installation, where the requirement to install new underground assets is within a heavily built up or ‘hardstand’ environment – typically open excavation would create an unsafe or impractical situation. In addition to this, obstructions such as freeways/motorways or wide bodies of water can be easily negotiated through the HDD method. Suitable areas for HDD include:
- Utility Services and Mains Installation under roads, driveways or pathways
- Lakes, Rivers and Creek Crossings
- Deep Asset Installation
- Costly or Significant Established Hardstand areas
Emergency Response

Underground Asset Locating
Utility pipelines and other underground plant require locating prior to any excavation or installation works taking place. Accurately identifying buried assets is the first step when undertaking utility and civil projects. Our team use state of the art equipment and technology to locate underground infrastructure for utility owners, councils and contractors alike. This ensures assets are not damaged and people remain safe and utility services are not interrupted during construction. Underground Asset Locating includes:
